4. No coin machine in the laundry room?!? So frustrating. Why do they think people carry 6$ in quarters to do 2 loads of laundry?
2. There are some nice views.
1. The manager Ralph is a jerk. He thought I was speeding (speed limit is 10, I might have been going 13) and he proceeded to stop his car in front of me to make me stop. We sat there like that for a minute. Then he pulls up next to me and in a very condescending way tells me I was definitely speeding and proceeds to call me "baby". I'm not your granddaughter or your wife, it's really not appropriate to call anyone that, especially in a condescending way. If I was speeding, there is a kinder way of saying something, and instead of pulling into my lane he could have just stuck his hand out his window. He is on a bit of a power trip. Staff wasn't friendly while checking in either. But if their boss is a jerk I doubt he is training them in customer service. Staff needs training in customer service.
1. Wi-Fi is available for purchase and it works good.
Beautiful park, friendly staff, quiet, truly enjoyed the entertainment on Saturday night.
I love these parks but they need to remember us who are permanent members
We won't be back as long as Ralph is managing this park.
3. Don't plan on having a good spot. Either the annuals have them or they are out of service. Seems like they don't put much money into upkeep and fixing the sites when they have issues, instead they just put a 'out of service's sign.
Lake Tawakoni location has the worst staff with bad attitudes, condescending and sexist rude comments towards women guests. If you like your wife, don't bring her here or keep Ralph away from her. He's an axxhole.
2. The water and shores are weedy, I wouldn't plan on swimming here.
We paid a few hundred dollars for membership or Thousand Trails with the thought that they were a group who had their stuff together. Marketing they do. But I have finally given up. The people who run them are good. But they must report to corporate who are rubbish. I wonder if they ever go out. This camp is really run down. You need an off road to get to the sites. They have had signs manufactured to show sites out of service rather than fix them. Seasonals have got the best sites few that there are. 30 amp only. Rubbish
On the positive side there are some nice things about this park.
